 1. How would your health be different if you lived in an undeveloped country?  2. How would your health be different in you (or your parents) were poor and living in the U.S.?  3. How does our culture affect your health?  4. If you are from another country, how does health care in the U.S. differ from that in your home country? Which is best? Why?

5. Why do you think health varies significantly even within the U.S.? 6. Why could the American idea on masculinity and “act like a man”, be harmful to your health? 7. Why do you think Americans are overweight compared to many other countries? What do you think can be done about it?

 8. Why do you think there are more AIDS in some African countries than in most other countries in the world?  9. If you have had sex (most college students have) did you talk about STD’s with your partner before having sex? Why or why not? How did you approach this discussion, or why did you avoid it?
