Track and field is combination of throwings, runnings (including race-walks) and jumps and leaps. For example we have javelin and hammer in throwings, 100m and 100m hurdlees in runnings and 3-hop and long jump in jumps and leaps. And don`t forget the walks what are example 50km and marathon. Our work is about track and field including cross-country skiing. We are going to tell you about different sports from track and field and something about skiing. Skiing is that you have poles in your hands and skies in your feet and you have skiing boots. Skiing has two different skiing techniques, skating and classic. Distances that adults ski in world cup are from about 1,2km to 50 km.

Finland has been won seven gold medals, seven silver medals and six bronce medals in track and field. Maybe you know better how many medals Czech has been won. Google didnt told us… Finland has fared better than Czech on cross-country skiing. Finland has won world championship more times than Czech. Especially in women`s series we have fared pretty good.
