MUSE Example of Cross Curricula Application & Co operational Activities of MUSE schools

The activities are based on the use of the web based platform of the Youra project. The activities should be initiated and implemented simultaneously in all MUSE schools The activities concern grouping of students in each school in order to form co operational teams that will collect, analyze, present and compare weather data of their towns and villages

What is YOURA e-Tool? YOURA project (SOCRATES/ MINERVA) YOURA e-Tool: Cooperative learning environment designed for students of primary schools User friendly e-tool, specially designed for students of primary schools (e.g. pictures instead of written script)

Activities concern the subject: Science & Environmental study You will need a thermometer, rainfall meter, a wind indicator Instruments can be made by students with everyday materials or you can use instruments available in your school or in the market What are the activities?

Group your students to form teams that are going to collect the weather data of your area every day for at least one week. Use with your students the Youra e- tool to up load and record in the Youra database the recorded data. Design develop and assign projects to your students groups that are based on the use of the Youra e tool and the data collection activities.

How to use the Youra e-tool? You will find information on how to use the Youra e tool in the PowerPoint presentations that are available at the MUSE site training programme section.
