CURRENCY ACT *1764 PARLIAMENT PASSED THE SUGAR ACT *LOWERED COLONIST TAXES ON MALASSES *THE GOVERNMENT THOUGHT THAT IF THEY LOWERED TAXES IT WOULD STOP SMUGGLING

STAMP ACT THE STAMP ACT PLACED TAXES ON ALMOST ALL PRINTED MATERIALS IN THE COLONIES IT COVINCED MANY COLONISTS OF THE NEED FOR ACTION

DECLARATORY ACT *THE DECLARATORY ACT STATED THAT PARLIAMENT HAD THE RIGHT TO TAX AND MAKE DECICIONS FOR BRITISH COLONIES *COLONISTS WOULDN’T TOLERATE INTERNAL TAXES

TEA ACT/BOSTON TEA PARTY A GROUP OF MEN BOARDED THE SHIPS AND THREW 342 CHESTS OF TEA OVERBOARD THIS GROUP WAS KNOWN AS THE BOSTON TEA PARTY A MAN NAMED SAMUEL ADAMS WAS A PART OF THEM AND WAS ALSO A PART OF THE SONS OF LIBERTY
