MONETARY BENEFITS FTA Pays up to 16 semester hours per fiscal year Allowed one degree/certificate per level except doctorate Must be approved prior to the start date of class Apply at Eligibility  Active drilling member  Completion of Initial Entry Training (IET)  Completion of course prior to ETS  Completion of 10 years for master degree, if FTA applied to undergraduate degree  No account holds (i.e. flags, missing grades, IET, etc.)

MONETARY BENEFITS NCTAP Can pay an additional amount of tuition and fees per state fiscal year Must be an approved school: School must be located in the state of North Carolina Must have 2 years remaining on contract with the NC Guard at end of academic period Only funding source for Air Guard members Applications must be submitted prior to class start date Must apply for FTA before you can apply for NCTAP Apply at

NCTAP Approved Caps Community Colleges, up to $900 per term (fall, spring, summer sessions) Public Schools, up to $4000 per academic year Private, Proprietary, and Flight Schools, up to $3,000 per academic year Truck Driving Schools, up to $1500 per academic year Subject to the Availability of Funds

DoD MOU Federal TA Programs  Schools that have not signed are suspended in GoArmyEd GI Bill Programs  No evident changes  Please do not “decertify” service members
