After Acceptance Introduction:

After Acceptance After a contract has been executed: 1.The listing salesperson should change the status of the listing in the Multiple Listing Service to pending. 2.The listing person then turns a copy of the contract and the earnest money check over to the title company and receipts the earnest money. 3.The listing person takes a file to the appropriate person within the company for processing. 4.The buyer’s salesperson should get a copy of the contract (may require an original) to the mortgage company, to their own company, and to the title company. 5.Both principals need to have an original contract in their hands.

After Acceptance Appraisal An appraisal is one person’s opinion of value.

After Acceptance Inspections Inspections of the house should be mandatory as they protect all parties involved in the transaction.

After Acceptance House Inspection A house inspection is a complete inspection of the house by a professional inspector. Pest Inspection Pest inspections are designed to look for problems related to insect infestation.

After Acceptance Survey A survey is a graphic look at the property boundaries.

After Acceptance Repairs If repairs are required by the purchase agreement, be sure they are completed according to the agreement.

After Acceptance Final Walk-Through The final walk-through allows the buyer the right to observe the property just prior to the closing.
