How can I reduce my Carbon Footprint Chris Conlon Period 4

What I can do myself Use fluorescent light bulbs around my house to save on my energy bills. Using ENERGY STAR, you can save 30 dollars over the life of the and pays for itself for 6 months. It can use 75% less energy and lasts 10 times longer.

What else I can do inside. Not use hot water as long. Recycle all my plastics or just use a re-useable water bottle rather than buying water bottles. Cleaning the filters of the furnace to get more heat out of it.

What I can do outside Walk or ride a bike more often instead of driving everywhere. Buy a more gas efficient car or convert my car to biodiesel. Car pool Take the bus or use transportation that use renewable resources such as electric powered trains. shttp:// s

When I’m working Turn off as many appliances that aren’t being used to cut down on power bill. Recycle papers instead of burning or throwing them out. Buy more energy efficient appliances at my place of business.
