I. WHAT DOES “GODHEAD” MEAN? THE DEITY OF CHRIST I. WHAT DOES “GODHEAD” MEAN? A. “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.” (Acts 17:29 KJV, ASV) “that which is divine” (DBY) “the Divine Nature” (NKJV, WEB) “the Deity” (RSV, LSV, SRV) B. “The state of being God.” Compare: Childhood.
