School Workforce Census Base Pay Dealing with Pay Issues: A Pay Details panel has been added to the SWC application This new panel will only appear if “Allow editing of Base Pay” has been ticked in School Workforce Census Settings - the default is unticked

School Workforce Census Base Pay Dealing with Pay Issues: Where the Pay Details panel appears, Base Pay will default to the amounts calculated from the other pay details, or to 0 if those details are not available. The school will then be able to change the Base Pay amounts to reflect what they are actually paying.

School Workforce Census Academies Academies formed in the collection period: In last year’s Census we used the date the establishment changed its name to determine when the academy was formed, but this forced academies to type in a date for a name change even where the name had not actually changed. In this year’s Census we will be using the date the establishment’s URN changed, which is something that changes for all academies.
