Editorials  An editorial is a piece that is written for a newspaper, magazine, or news website, that takes a particular point of view  It usually expresses the author’s or the newspaper company’s opinion about an issue  It is NOT meant to be read as a “straight” factual report  Usually the editorial section of a newspaper is clearly differentiated from the news section, but not always – so be careful!

Writing Assignment #6  You choose one of the following two options: Do some research and find a company that has been having problems recently.
