BUT GOD First we see in verse 1 ▫Our intended future of death from Him ▫Our lives and lifestyle of habitual sinning Verse 4 – BUT GOD ▫Verses 5 and 6 ▫He gave us eternal life ▫He cleansed us from our sins

BUT GOD Second we see in verse 2 ▫The devil was our lord ▫We lived a life of disobedience Verse 4 – BUT GOD ▫Verse 6 ▫He elevated our relationship from lord to Lord ▫He elevated our status from sinner to saint – Romans 1:7

BUT GOD Third we see in verse 3 ▫We were the children of wrath ▫We lived according to our flesh Verse 4 - BUT GOD ▫Verse 7 ▫We went from wrath to wealth ▫We went from godlessness to grace

BUT GOD We can always say in our sins and in our struggles – BUT GOD ▫Verse 8 reminds us that:  He saved us  He gifted us with His Spirit  He works His will into us
