How should your paper look? NO title page!!! Upper left-hand corner of the first page should have: your name your instructor's name the course the date A title (not underlined or in quotes)
In-Text Citations Place the author's name followed by a space and the relevant page number(s) *Human beings have been described as "symbol-using animals" (Burke 3). *Wordsworth stated that Romantic poetry was marked by a "spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings" (263).
In-Text Citations: multiple authors or unknown authors ...as has been discussed elsewhere (Burke 3; Dewey 21). An anonymous Wordsworth critic once argued that his poems were too emotional ("Wordsworth Is a Loser" 100).
