Year 1 Activities (10/1/09 – 09/30/10) $82,687 Total Expended on Financial Assistance Payments $35,648 utilized for Security Deposits 298 Adults/Households Assisted with Financial Payments 606 Total Customers Served including 308 children

Lessons Learned Just over 50% of the children in households receiving services were between the ages of 0 and 6 Demand for program assistance and financial services is far greater than availability Security Deposit Utilization increased with closing of DSS Security Deposit Program Staff training and support for data entry, and customer service a key for success
