LEADER FAIR 2016 TIME: August 2016; PLACE: Jäneda village, Lääne-Viru county; AIM: TO ENHANCE COOPERATION; Participants: Nordic-Baltic LEADER / CLLD action groups, EU partnerships, Nordic- Baltic NRNs; The number of participants:

LEADER FAIR 2016 Thursday, 24th August :00 gathering, preparing fair tables etc; 13:00 ABOUT COOPERATION and FOR THE COOPERATION – something useful, something informative in the big hall of Rural Economy Research Centre; 16:00 COOPERATION FAIR – in the halls RURAL Economy Research Centre; 19:00 NETWORKING DINNER.

LEADER FAIR 2016 Thursday, 25th August :00 COOPERATION FAIR and short seminars in the halls, seminar rooms and in the big hall of Rural Economy Research Centre; 15:00 CLOSING the COOPERATION FAIR; The start of cooperation special programme COOPERATION SPECIAL PROGRAMME: -On the way to TALLINN – visiting LEADER projects and meetings in the rural area before Tallinn (1-2 trips, organized by Estonian NSU); -Cooperation trips of LAGs.

LEADER FAIR 2016 Friday, 26th August 2016 COOPERATION SPECIAL PROGRAM continues – Cooperation trips organized by Estonian LEADER LAGs to their activity areas. -LAGs decide the trip route and topics, compiles the programme, organize accommodation, sets the maximum number of participants, participation fee (if needed), and grant the information about public transport, to airport etc); -The programmes of cooperation trips will be available at the Estonian NSU web-page ( also the registration will be available there.

LEADER FAIR 2016 Cooperation between NRNs (1) Disseminating information to LEADER / CLLD LAGs; Do NRNs can support the LAGs on covering the participation costs of the fair? Do somebody have contacts with third countries representatives? – Estonia would like to invite participants from Moldova and Turkey.

LEADER FAIR 2016 Cooperation between NRNs (2) Each NRN will make a presentation about the current situation of LEADER / CLLD implementation, LAGs and TNC conditions, for example: – is the evaluating the projects the task of LAG or is it national? – is the LAG cooperation projects budget fixed or is it LAG’s own decision? – are the travel costs to outside of the cooperation project area eligible for the LAG? – cooperation with third countries, are there any special rules? – other… Each NRN should organize and lead 1-2 short seminars.

It is easier to deal with challenges while cooperating!
