Problem & Solution Troggs were taking over The Underneath and the Puddlejumpers needed someone to lead them in a battle against the Troggs. They chose Shawn Frazier and kidnapped him to teach the Puddlejumper ways. They lose him while in a frantic flee away from Troggs. He is trouble at Lakeside, and the last choice is to send him to a three week farm in Circle, Illinois. (Where Shawn was born!) There Shawn, (Now Ernie Banks) embarks on a journey to save the Puddlejumpers, and prove what he recently found out, he is the son of Russ Frazier, the sponsor. He learns then that Puddlejumpers are magical. Can he really complete his list of tasks?

Favorite part My favorite part was when Shawn/Ernie planted his crystal acorn where the fire burns hot and forever.

Helpful It’s a helpful book because it teaches you that when your bad you get punished, and when you try your best to be good when you have already been bad, no one trusts you. So you should be good altogether.

Ernie’s Character Traits  Kind, because he is usually nice to other kids.  Courageous, because he leads the Puddlejumpers into a battle at the Most Dark.  Responsible, because he fulfills his destiny, even if he did not want to  Forgiving, because he is nice to people who have been mean to him.
