 There are year long and semester classes  Typically, year long classes are counted as 1 full credit; semester classes are counted as.5 credit  Freshmen schedules are fairly static –  Schedule English, Math, Science and Social Studies  Sign up for band, choir or orchestra vs. Guided Study  Decide on physical education and health options  Elective options  Make sure you have doubled up semester courses  Always include alternate options  Be aware of fees connected with courses

 Select Courses – Teacher Recommendations  Make sure you have noted alternate courses  Print off schedule/course plan from Course Description Book (Page 4)  Have teachers sign off on recommendations for advanced math or Spanish I  Parent sign before turned in to middle school counselor by February 19th
