What is Opositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)? problems with: defiance, disobedience and hostility toward authority figures last for at least six months. Its disorder is described as a diagnosis of recurrent problems with defiance, disobedience and hostility toward authority figures that last for at least six months.

symptoms need to occur outside of a mood disorder without psychotic features cause a disruption in school, social, and work performance.. exact cause is unknown. contributing factors are suspected to be genetics, and family and social conflict/injury. Treatment. Medications are not usually indicated unless another illness is present. This illness may co occur with depression, ADHD, or anxiety disorders.
