What? Leader adventure in Finland youngsters, age from 16 to 26 travel round Central and Eastern Finland in teams of four persons. LAGs (especially young people in the LAGs) along the route organize tasks, activities, lodgings and happenings for the teams.

What? Participants are expected to come from Baltic See area and other EU countries. Travel to Helsinki by own cost. Participation fee of 100 € Other costs are paid by event organiser. Relaxed camping equipment like sleeping bag, camping mattress, swimming suit…etc. Own insurances!!

Teams/Groups 4-5 persons/team Teams will be mixed so that the participants from different countries will be in different teams. Teams are given a car, equipped with a mobile phone, navigator, laptop with internet and a net cam.

The Tour Each team has its own route and different tasks for each day. Evenings and nights are spend together. The tasks will get the participants familiar with local sights, Leader activities and local youngsters. Some tasks will be making interviews and storys e.g. to blog pages of adventure. Checkpoints are to fill up the cars and to follow up the progress of the teams.

Spirit of the adventure The main idea is to invite youngsters to make friends with Finnish youngsters and locals. This hospitality includes modest accomodation, dinners and breakfasts. In each evening there will be relaxed programme like going to sauna and having fun together; cooking, partying, making sports, driving a tractor etc. The spirit of the adventure tasks: ”You are welcome to experince our events”
