Amendment 1 O Freedom of religion, assembly, press, opinion, and speech.
Amendment 2 O The freedom to bear arms.
Amendment 3 O No military in your home except in war time.
Amendment 4 O No unreasonable searches …need probable cause (a good reason) to obtain a warrant.
Amendment 5 O The right to remain silent O The government cannot take private property for its own use without fair payment. O Double jeopardy…cannot be tried twice.
Amendment 6 O The right to a speedy and public trial.
Amendment 7 O The right to a jury trial in civil matters of $20.00 and over.
Amendment 8 O No cruel and unusual punishment.
Amendment 9 O Individual rights…Rights that are not in the Constitution are rights given to citizens.
Amendment 10 O States rights. Government powers not mentioned in the Constitution belong to the states.
Amendment 11 O A citizen of one state cannot sue another state in federal court.
Amendment 12 O Electors for President and Vice President must identify the person they choose for each office.
Amendment 13 O Abolishes slavery in the United States.

Amendment 21 O Repeals Amendment 18….alcohol is legal again.
Amendment 22 O A President can only have 2 terms in office.
Amendment 23 O Residents of Washington D.C get the right to vote in Presidential elections.
Amendment 24 O You may not charge people money to vote.
Amendment 25 O Establishes who becomes President if he/she dies or resigns.
Amendment 26 O You can vote at the age of 18 (you must be a citizen of the U.S.).
