Children are formally assessed at the end of each Key Stage –End of reception –KS 1 –KS 2 –KS 3

SATs Standard Attainment Tasks are carried out to support the teachers assessment

We assess Speaking and listening Reading Writing Mathematics Science

National average is a 2b The range is between W for working towards 1c, 1b, 1a then 2c, 2b, 2a the highest KS 1 children can get in the results is 3b

We keep the process for the children very informal, we do not talk about ‘SATs’ You are informed at the end of the year about the outcomes
