Key Dates for SYOF 2014 Organised by the Singapore Olympic Foundation (SOF), the 3rd Singapore Youth Olympic Festival (SYOF) serves as a platform for youths to showcase their sporting talents. The SYOF is a legacy of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) held in Singapore in It is also a platform to create awareness about the upcoming YOG 2014 in Nanjing, China. In 2011, the SYOF was first started to celebrate the first anniversary of the Youth Olympic Games. The SYOF hopes to inspire more Singaporeans to take up sports, as well as bring youths together to foster strong friendship and promote the Olympic values of Excellence, Friendship and Respect.

Key Dates for SYOF 2014 Opening ceremony: 31 May 2014 Match Days: 4 June 2014 to 5 June 2014 Finals and Closing Ceremony: 6 June 2014

SYOF FINAL DAY Date: 8.30am to 1pm, Saturday, 6 June 2014 There will be a Prize Presentation and Lucky Draw. Things to note: 1. Your brochure is your Lucky Draw ticket! 2. Spectators are welcome to take part ; they can collect their brochures on 6 th June between 8.30am to 9.30am. ONLY ONE PER PERSON (Players are allowed to have two) 3. Deposit the lucky draw stub in the designated box on 6 th June between 8.30am to 11am. Lucky draw takes place during the Prize-Presentation Ceremony Grand Prize: Bicycle USED BY VIPs AT SYOF 2014 OPENING CEREMONY SO COME ON DOWN FOR THE FINAL DAY!

Flow of Participants Announcement 30 min before start of match: Players to proceed to registration booth for registration Proceed to first row of spectator’s stand to wait for game Team manager to make sure all players are present during the last 5mins of on going match and report to volunteer in-charge Volunteer gives cue and players go into the court and reports to the referee Game commences End of match Go back to grand stand to wait for next match or Leave Venue
