Auschwitz-Birkenau. German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp.

Auschwitz-Birkenau Auschwitz-Birkenau is the biggest Extermination Camp of 3rd Reich. It is an evidence of genocide committed by the Nazis during the Second World War. Watching fence, barbed wire, watchtowers, barracks, gallows, gas chambers and crematoria, it is difficult to imagine that a „people did this to people”. Historical research has shown that in the Concentration Camp were killed 1.5 million people. The Nazis systematically starved, tortured and murdered Jews deported from all over occupied Europe, but also Poles, Russians, Gypsies.

Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum „Auschwitz-Birkenau” was founded in It is a symbol of the horrific cruelty between people, but also a warning to the world, which is still full of prejudice.
