SPARTAN LIFE STILE Women  Spartan women looked after the family farm whilst her husband was training or maybe even fighting. Men  Spartans thought that all men should marry and have babies. Any adult men not yet married had to go naked through the town once a year.

Every day Money  The Spartans didn’t use coins like the other Greeks they used iron bars instead.  The Spartans weren’t interested in business and getting rich, they were interested in being fit and tough.

camp  In camp, soldiers didn’t bother digging toilet trenches solders were told to go far away from their friends!  Spartans practised night fighting by creeping around in the dark hunting down helots (slaves),

Solider  Spartans were proud of their hair. They combed it before battle.  Spartans wore red cloaks in battle so blood stains from wounds wouldn’t show.

Town  Unlike other Greek states for years Sparta had no defence walls Sparta relied on it surroundings and army to keep away enemies.
