There’s Nothing Like Baseball

coach A coach is a person who trains athletes for a sport. A parent might be a coach for a child’s team. In a professional sport, the coaches have played the game and have studied coaching for years. Tell about a coach you know.

tryouts Tryouts are tests a coach uses to decide which player should play on the team. During tryouts a player try to play well. How does a player feel during tryouts?

practices Practices help players work on their skills over and over. Most teams have practices at least once a week. When do you have practices for something you do?
