TALK ABOUT A BRITISH CITY BATH

Where is it ? Bath is in the south-west of England, few kilometres far from Wales, in the Somerset County (UK). It is crossed by the Avon river. Bath is here

What is Bath famous for? Bath is an old city, it was founded by Romans in the 43 d.C. It’s famous for the enormous thermal baths (the only natural in the UK). This is why this city has this name.

What a tourist should not miss in Bath The thermal baths of Baths The Royal Crescent: is a row of 30 houses laid out in a sweeping crescent. The Circus of Bath: is another row of houses, but curve. It’ s near the Royal Crescent. The royal Victoria Park: is a very big park with a small lake the “Fish Pond” inside.

The Bath Abbey: is an Anglican church and a former Benedictine monastery in Bath. It’s very old. It was founded in the 7th century. The Stoney Littleton Long Barrow: is a Neolithic chambered tomb with multiple burial chambers, located near the village of Wellow, near Bath.
