The Wind began in the night. Arthur awoke to hear the branches scraping against the window and the sound of sudden sheets of rain being pushed against the house.

Dread lay on Gilly’s stomach like a dead fish on the beach.

As soon as the wheels rattles on cobbled streets, Jenny felt an immense sense of relief.

“Anchor!” shouted Captain Stebbins through his speaking trumpet. “Drop anchor!”

 This is a story about me. One Spring day I sat outside. I liked the spring. I liked to be outside.  Use- An Action, Dialogue or Exclamation, A thought or Question, and a Sound to revise this boring beginning.
