September 19, The Walrus and the Carpenter - review for unit 1 assessment Hom ework: Study ALL notes for tomorrow's test. The Walrus and the Carpenter is an example of a narrative poem. This means that it must have all the elements of a story, including characters 2. setting 3. plot

Give 4 setting details mentioned in the poem’s exposition. s etting = time, place e xposition = introduction of characters and setting 1. the sun was shining on the sea 2. in the middle of the night 3. the moon was shining sulkily 4. the billows smooth and bright

Identify 4 characters in the poem and give an adjective that describes each.
