Inequalities

What is an Inequality?! Inequality: statement that two quantities are not equal. Symbols of comparison: ≤ ≥ ≠

Graphing Inequalities t > 4 y  Remember: - If you take the time to draw the line, you take the time to fill it in! - The inequality sign (when the variable is on the left) always points in the same direction as the arrow on the number line.
