Situated in the center of Romania, guarded by the Carpathian Mountains to the north and by the river Olt to the east, Vâlcea the oldest country of Wallachia, is home to Oltenia’s most beautiful monasteries. On peaks with spiral paths and in city rise churches, monasteries like pearls, true cathedrals of culture of Orthodox Christian spirituality and romanian civilisation.

Râmnicul, “the city of my lordship” as Mircea the Elder named it, reveals wondarful places and hard-working people. This is the city where I am learning and preparing for life. Where in each Sunday, on this school year with others children we are participating at High Mass at Sfantul Ioan Botez ă torul Church, and Priest Nicolae learn us the joy of giving

After The High Mass,we are participating workshop and we are doing fancy work. The priest teach us how to paint an icon on glass.

The Priest Nicolae is teaching us how to cook dishes for fast days.

On 6 december by Saint Nicolas we visited the children from Pinocchio Orphanage of B ă beni – Vâlcea.
