Intelligences

When it comes to getting things done in the real world there is clearly more at stake than IQ.

Intelligence is no longer something that is seen as fixed but rather something that can be grown.

If intelligence is seen as learnable then as well as teaching the content or subject we now need to teach learning habits designed to boost the learner’s mind power.

Intelligence requires us to play together like an orchestra. Different kinds of intelligence represent different kinds of instruments – only when they are playing together in time and tune can the symphony emerge in all its glory.

All learners have to be Resourceful Resilient Reflective and Use reciprocity These are the key learning skills but there are more learning habits….
