Do Now! What is biodiversity? What is interdependence? What are the four classifications of organisms within a biome (food web), based on how they get.
In the spring & summer, food is plentiful Most animals have babies at this time of year In the winter, food is scarce. Plants go dormant, insects disappear,
DO NOW 1. Why do you think there are different types of plants and animals in different areas of the world? 2. Why are there not the same animals in Canada.

OUR BIOME: TEMPERATE FOREST

WHERE IS TEMPERATE FOREST IN THE WORLD? North Hemisphere.

PRECIPITATION (RAIN OR SNOW) IS USUALLY Is 750 to 1500mm of rain per year.

VEGETATION (PLANT LIFE) Broad leaf tree (oak, maples, beeches), shrubs, perennial, herbs, and mosses

ANIMALS Wolves, deer, bear, manmals, birds, amphibas, reptiles, and insects.
