RELEASE OF IMMUNIZATION TOOLKIT Announcing a new immunization tracking guidance resource for childcare and school staff. The purpose of this toolkit is to: Provide best-practices for school and childcare immunization recordkeeping and documentation Improve compliance with state-mandated immunization entry requirements Decrease student immunization out-of-compliance rates Check it out at

MISSION The mission of the Immunization Action Coalition of the Inland Northwest is to increase immunization rates in the Inland Northwest.

GOALS Support the Healthy People 2020 goal to “increase immunization rates and reduce preventable infectious diseases”¹ Increase educational opportunities for members; including knowledge on immunization innovation and best practices. Increase immunization partner and stakeholder representation in IACNW membership rates. Recruit members from a variety of sectors to diversify the IACNW. ¹healthypeople.gov/2020

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE JOB DESCRIPTION The Executive Committee is responsible for the oversight of the direction of the Coalition. Voted into office by general membership. Commitment:  One year term  Sign commitment letter  Dedicate approximately two to four hours per month  Attend at least three meetings in-person annually Roles and Responsibilities:  Prepares for and attends Coalition meetings regularly.  Participates in research, recommendations and time-sensitive decisions.  Partakes in strategic and action planning with other executive members.  Works to familiarize self with organizations and members within the Coalition.  Provides support for IACNW special projects.  Effectively represents the Coalition in the community.
