Britannica.co.uk What is Flipped Learning? A simple definition: A teaching and learning theory and practice In which direct instruction is moved outside the classroom So that in class time students can apply their knowledge and engage creatively with it

Britannica.co.uk Why Flip your Classroom? In a 2012 TeacherView survey, 67% of respondents reported an increase in standardised test scores, with particular benefits for students in advanced placement classes and students with special needs, and 80% indicated an improvement in students’ attitudes. Clintondale High School in Michigan saw the failure rate of its 9th grade math students drop from 44 to 13 percent after adopting flipped classrooms (Finkel, 2012).
