Tuesday, 10/13 EQ: How can I analyze text at a college level?  Take out your TRF and wait for further instrctions  Set room up for tutorials  Upcoming dates…  Wednesday, 10/14 – PSAT – breakfast in Mrs. Fowler’s room starting at 7:45 AM.  Thursday, 10/15– Study groups – you do not need a TRF.  Thursday, 10/15 – planner  Friday, 10/16 – end of the 1NWS  Tuesday, 10/27 – College and Career CHHS from 6 to 8 p.m.

Focused tutorial  Assemble into your tutorial groups  Today we are focusing on the 30 second speech  If the 30 second speech does not reveal a clear and concise POC do the following:  Guide the presenter (questions, referring them back to their notes, allowing them to use your notes, etc.) to a clear and concise POC.  Your reflections will be about the 30 second speech and groupings.

Reflection  List the people that presented today and evaluate on a scale of 1 (not clear) to 5 (complete clarity)their 30 second speech.  Complete the following sentence: My tutorial would have been better if ________________ was in my group because ________________.  Grade check then intermission!

Marking the test  Put your name on the paper  Number the paragraphs there should be seven.  Highlight facts  Underline opinion  Put a question mark next to something you would like to discuss.
