Habitat They live every where The environment is in grassy area, snow,

Diet They should eat lots of grain and drink a lot of water

Family life They have one floe but rarely twins Genistation is 335 to 340 days They are born in the summer to fall To take care of them they need clean water clean stable or a barn or stable for shelter

Horses have instincts that tell them to fight or flee. When they sense a sudden change in movement they sense this instinct. Social Behavior

Characteristics They are sensitive and energetic or they can be quiet and calm They like to run in a wide open area Their defense is their hooves It uses its teeth to get food It can live up to 30 or more years

History They were first wild animals like the zebra People used to eat them for food Then in 4000 bc in central Asia people started using them for caring their things

Present status Now horses are used for riding and racing and just basically to show for 4-h and other groups. Horses now don’t work in fields and carry our things anymore they now run around or are just shown off to other people. But we still use them to help us get through rough terrain.

Relationship to humans Humans use them to race,play sports,and just to have as pets. We even use them in the circus. Or we ride them in parades or we give other people a chance to ride in the wagon that is pulled by the horses.
