2 SiPM: size: 4x4mm 2 LYSO (T int = 400ns) Ce:GaGG (T int = 1 µs) cell size: 30x30um 2 Ce:GaGG LYSO Scintillator size: 3x3x5mm 3 Energy resolution is mainly determined by the scintillator in both cases Extremely good coincidence resolving time, especially for faster LYSO crystal

3 SiPM: size: 2.2x2.2mm 2 cell size: 15x15um 2 Fill factor ~45% High photo-detection efficiency for visible light Low excess noise factor (< 1.15 at 7.5 OV) Fast recovery time  = 9ns measured by Y. CERN
