Physical Properties -a characteristic or trait of something Ex: color, size, shape, texture, luster, state of matter, density, odor, taste
Chemical Properties -shows how something reacts in the presence of something else Ex: flammability
Physical Changes -Change in appearance only -Does not change what the matter is Ex: phase change, growing, changing clothes, cutting hair, glass breaking
Chemical Changes -Change in appearance AND structure of the substance -New substances are formed Ex: Sodium-reacts violently with water Chlorine-poisonous gas Sodium Chloride a.k.a. Salt
