I think this somehow suggest the meaning of prank. We can use it as doubting others or when we have different opinion with others. I think shrug usually implies that “having no idea” or “I don’t care.” Or, we can use it to express our surprise like we say “what!” The meaning depends on different situation

It is a common gesture of Ok. People use it to confirm the message, or to make the promise. It is actually quiet different between eastern and western culture. Usually, we consider it as the sign of happiness or success. On the other hand, it is the peace sign in western culture.

It is a common gesture as we point at particular spot to respond others. Usually, we can use it to point out the direction or to point at the stuff we are referring to. We use the gesture to encourage others to do something or congratulate others’ performance. It has the same meaning of “well- done” and “good job.”
