Therefore, what new jobs were created as a result? But even in 1920, electricity is not yet affordable for middle class and working class families. By 1927, the price of electricity (kilowatt) was 55% less than in 1907.

Who gets it? And how? New Inventions Need Power Since people wanted more (and often complex) appliances, demand skyrocketed. People could now work at night (make more $$$ and because they liked having their life made easy). Therefore, what new jobs were created as a result? By 1926, more than 60% of the nation’s homes were electrified.
