Objective: Students will learn the basic symbols available within Illustrator, and be able to utilize the symbols to create vector images. Bellwork: Compare and contrast Illustrator with more basic drawing programs such as Paint Program.
In our last lesson, we learned the Basic Drawing Tools in Adobe Illustrator. Today, you will review those tools. Open ‘Apartment Building’ from the Handouts folder.
Start - All Programs - Adobe Master Collection CS5.5 - Adobe Illustrator CS5.1 Go to File>New change Units to Inches
Save the file to your student H-drive. Save to your new folder: ‘Username Illustrator’ Save the file as ‘Username Apartment Building’
You will be given time to complete the ‘Apartment Building’ assignment on your own. When finished, turn in your completed project.
