2-14 Irwin/McGraw-Hill ©The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., 2000 Teaching and training Methodology The UC follows the modular approach In executing the curricula, active learning and participatory methods are utilized. Specifically student centered learning approach are applied. 60% of the time is allotted for student’s interactive learning and skill development, while the rest 40% is left for the instructors to convey essential information. These methods help students to develop self directed and interdependent learning. 2-19 Irwin/McGraw-Hill ©The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., 2000 Challenges of this Approach It demands resources (both human and non-human) significantly.
