So you Want a Pet? By:Caitlin Schechter Age 11 South Anna 4-H Club Hanover County This presentation was designed for younger children.

Step One: Responsibility Show that you’re responsible. Pet-sit neighbors pets for them.

Step Two: Popping the question You’ve got to ask your parents. If they say ok, you’re lucky.

Step three: Refusal Parents will say no Give the topic a rest. Offer to pay for it.

Step Four: Choosing your pet Choose pets you have room for. Take care of it.

Step Five: Taking Care of Your pet(s) Get your pet(s) vaccinated regularly Some pets aren’t vaccinated(ex:turtles) Go to the vet whenever needed. Plenty of food and water. Play/train.

Pets that might suit you Apartment: small cat, rabbit, lizard, bird. Two story house:Dogs, cats, ferrets. Farm: Horses, cats, dogs, cows, chickens!

Conclusion This method MIGHT work-Not guaranteed. Parents might be allergic to pets. You might not get the pet you want.
