About Me CSULB Alumni with a BA in elementary teaching, minor in Child Development. Pre-school teacher for 6 years Teaching TK for 2 years I stand by the philosophy of “children learn through play” and here at St. Bernard I hope to teach the students how to be faithful, empowered, and active individuals as they begin their school career.
TK Curriculum Kindergarten Readiness Socio-emotional Awareness -With self and others. Language Arts - Concepts of print, phonological awareness, building vocabulary through literature, recognizing frequent words, and basic writing. Mathematics - Counting to 30. Base 10. Shapes, patterns, calendar Arts, Music, P.E. -Once a week with Ms. Montes, Mr. Metz, and Ms. Daze
Homework Reading, language arts, math Homework will be given daily, but checked weekly. Homework will be updated on weebly if needed.

Uniforms -Casual: red/white polo and khakis -Girls dress: Jumper, White blouse, all black/white shoes. No slip-ons. -Boys dress: White button down shirt, navy blue tie, khaki pants, belt, all black/white shoes, navy blue sweater
