Length and Mass The Florida Keys are very long. This slide will show you how long it is and the mass of it. The land area for the Florida Keys is sq. miles The island is 15 miles in all. WOW !

Islands The island we researching about is the Florida Keys. There are 42 islands in the Florida Keys. Here are some facts about the Florida Keys: Some of the island names are Little Duck key, No Name key and many more.

Coral The whole island is made out of coral. Coral is found in the ocean. Coral is a type of animal, cool! It keeps the island floating in the water.

Animals There are a lot of animals in the Florida Keys. I will name some of the animals that live in the Florida Keys: Fawn, turtle, alligator, and many more! Those are some animals in the Florida Keys.

Population The population of the Florida Keys is 80,000 people. That’s a lot of people! Most of the people are tourists.

Hotels When you go to the Florida Keys you will find a lot of hotels There are 173 hotels in the Florida Keys.

Climate It is very warm and sunny there also in the summer it can get to 100 degrees. In the winter it can get warm, too. These are some pictures of what the weather would be like:

Seafood The people in the Florida Keys eat lots of seafood because they are next to The Gulf of Mexico. They mostly eat fish, squid, haddock, and even lionfish! ( They are poisonous.)
