T HE INVENTION OF THE STETHOSCOPE B Y : H ALEY R OTHMEYER

A F RENCH MAN INVENTED THE STETHOSCOPE AND HIS NAME WAS R ENE LAENNEC HE WAS A VERY SMART MAN HE WAS BORN 1781 AND HE DIED IN 1826 HE DIED AT 45!

The first stethoscope was invented in 1816 and was never patented and it is very useful!

The stethoscope is a weird triangle looking shape and it is very useful to see if someone’s heart is going or if there breathing and it can be many types of colors like pink or black or its natural color silver and it is a cool experience to learn about the things that tell us if were breathing right or even breathing at all and if we didn’t have them lots of people could have been suffering or maybe even dead and that would be bad because if we could have a hospital every were needed and that would be the best thing so less people would get dieses and die!

The stethoscope did look different in the olden days but it is more often used affeciantly and more are used today they have a new look and they are very useful they help people around the globe and today they come in many different colors and they can also have themes for instance they could have polka dots on them!

The stethoscope was commonly used in the industrial revolution for tuberculosis! Tuberculosis is a diese that could possibly kill you it is very dangerous and it spreads very fast it spreads how one person has it and breaths out heavily and the other person beside that person breathed it in so that person therefore will get sick!
