Week of October Welcome to the second nine weeks! Last week ended the first nine weeks strong! Let’s continue the momentum! Week of October Welcome to the second nine weeks! Last week ended the first nine weeks strong! Let’s continue the momentum! This week you can look forward to: Science : I will begin working with students on Google Classroom. We will still be completing our Interactive Notebooks, but will do many assignments and discussions online. We will begin the nine weeks with planets (4.7). Students will be constructing a solar system at home. Math: I t begins! Multi-stepped multiplication (3 digit x 2 digit). This week students will learn how to complete multiplication with the traditional and area models. (4.4b ) Reading : This week we will be Visualizing stories by using the characters thoughts, actions, and words(4.5f) Writing : We are partnering with the 5 th grade and becoming a community of writers using Writer’s Workshop (4.7 ) VA Studies : This nine weeks we will be studying Jamestown. We will begin with learning about the reasoning behind English Colonization. (VS.3ab ) This week you can look forward to: Science : I will begin working with students on Google Classroom.
