Assessment

Findings Semester 1: 10 people enrolled 1 complete on deadline 4 more complete by end of Semester 2 Semester 2: 58 more people enrolled 14 departments 6 completed 14 attended in-person class

Findings “This course helped me take another look at how I collect my data, but the way that I collect my data is ultimately how my advisor tells me to, which is good in my case because they have a good system, but I could see how that could also be a bad thing. This course gave me good techniques which I will not only be able to implement in my current research in addition to what I have already been doing, but also use them in the rest of my career.” …I was unaware that formal documentation for data management plans and data repositories were available from the University of Minnesota Libraries. The U Libraries have many positive and useful features beyond the typical access to books and journal articles and I will seek out help from the Libraries as a first step in many of my data issues.
