Earthly Stories with a Spiritual Meaning

The word parable comes from the Greek word “parabolé”, which basically means “comparison” (Sommer 7) A parable is “a brief allegorical story that conveys a moral lesson, spiritual principle, or universal truth” (Sommer 7) “A parable is a short story that teaches a moral or spiritual lesson by comparing it to something from everyday life” (Christian Bible Reference Site)

Provides relatable stories from everyday situations that people could recognize. Separated believers and non-believers according to their responses.
