doc.: IEEE xxxxr0 Submission May 2008 Chang-Joo Kim, ETRISlide 2 Abstract The equation for CPE to calculate the TX power density value should be modified not to cause a potential interference to IU. -CPE shall maintain the same transmitted power density regardless of the number of subchannels assigned. When the number of subchannels is increased, the total transmitted power shall also be increased proportionally[1]. -WRAN may limit the total transmitted power depending on the allowed EIRP [2]. -In case of increasing the number of subchannels according to UIUC, the total power can be over the allowed power even though the power density is smaller than previous transmission. -Currently, the equation is not considering the number of subcarrier and maximum transmit power level.
