Advancing Government through Collaboration, Education and Action Overview Primary focus on the Secure Sharing & Safeguarding Information Priority Area Instituted a bi-monthly meeting schedule with guest speakers covering topics to include: –Improving Cybersecurity & Resilience Through Acquisition –National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace –Critical Infrastructure Protection 2

Advancing Government through Collaboration, Education and Action The Draft SS&SI Work Plan emphasized activities supporting EO implementation EO /19/2013 Improving Cybersecurity & Resilience Through Acquisition 1/23/2014 Draft Implementation Plan 3/12/ Tasked GSA and DoD to address cybersecurity standards in acquisition planning and contract administration Developed a strategy to include category definitions, risk prioritization, and overlays Request for comments published in Federal Register
